Taw Hill man admits to child abuse images

A MAN who admitted distributing child abuse images over the internet has been warned he could be jailed.

Stephen Hopkins, 32, admitted sharing images on three occasions between October 2009 and July 2010. He also had extreme pornography involving animals and prohibited images of children. Hopkins pleaded guilty to three counts of distribution, 14 of making and one of possessing indecent images of children between 2001 and 2011.

The defendant, of Speedwell Close, Taw Hill, also admitted possessing extreme pornography and prohibited images of children.

Judge Douglas Field, at Swindon Crown Court, adjourned the case to November 16 and released Hopkins on bail.
