WILTSHIRE Police is appealing for witnesses after an attempted burglary in Swindon.

The incident took place at the Halfords store, in Fleming Way, on September 29 shortly before 3.45am.

Two male suspects broke into the building and attempted to steal a number of items.

However, the burglar alarm was activated and police officers arrived swiftly on the scene.

The men then left the items outside the building and ran away.

The man pictured on CCTV is someone police would like to speak to in connection with this incident is attached.

One of the suspects is described as a white male, approximately 6ft tall, wearing a black hooded top, dark coloured jeans and white trainers with blue laces.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.
