BALLET lovers in Swindon will have an alternative venue to see a performance this winter.
The Vienna Festival Ballet will perform Sleeping Beauty at the Olympiad Leisure Centre in Chippenham on Sunday December 3.
Marketing manager Gill Mallek said: "We have played at the Wyvern several times over the last few years but the asbestos problem has prevented us from booking a date.
"But we still hope that ballet fans in the town will make the short journey to come and see us."
Tickets cost £17.50 for adults and £10 for children and OAPs.
The performance begins at 5pm. Tickets are available from Chippenham Tourist Information Centre on 01249 665970, or directly from the Olympiad on 01249 444144.
