SHOPPERS on Highworth’s High Street can check out the goods on offer in two Prospect Hospice shops from today.

The charity’s shop is moving from one side of the street, where it first opened three years ago, to the other, larger, more spacious premises to reflect the success it has seen since it opened.

As the lease on the old shop has yet to expire, Prospect Hospice will run its first Christmas shop in the run-up to the festive season.

“We are delighted to be moving to new premises in Highworth,” said Charly Rich, Prospect’s head of retail.

“And it is down to the support of the people of Highworth and the surrounding villages we have had to seek new premises.”

The opening of the temporary Christmas shop in the town is a further development Charly hopes will bring a pre-festive boost to the local hospice’s funds.
