YOUNG people from across Wiltshire had the opportunity to play football at the County Ground as part of the Let’s Kick Racism Out of Football campaign.
Wiltshire Council teamed up with Swindon Town Football In The Community to deliver a series of local football tournaments in Chippenham, Devizes, Salisbury and Trowbridge during October half term for young people aged 15 and 16.
A total of 22 teams, including more than 150 young people and five young volunteers, took part in the tournaments.
Two teams from each tournament then progressed to a Wiltshire county final, which was held on November 3.
Salisbury City FC A and Trowboys, contested at the Kick It Out grand final at half time during Swindon Town’s fixture with Sheffield United on November 6. Salisbury won 2-0.
