ALL the ballot boxes for the police and crime commissioner election and the Blunsdon and Highworth by-election have now arrived at the count centres.

A total of 94 boxes have arrived and have been verified at the main count centre at the Oasis Leisure Centre. 

There are four other count centres across the county, at Devizes, Chippenham, Salisbury and Trowbridge, where there are about 350 boxes currently going though the verification process.

Steven Taylor, the returning officer, said he hoped the votes in the PCC election would be counted by 3am, subject the turnout, with the decision announced by 4am.
