Robbery attempt in Upper Stratton
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an attempted robbery in Upper Stratton on Tuesday at 7.10pm.
A lone female was walking down the alleyway next to Ruskin Junior School when a man pushed her against a wall and asked her for her purse and phone.
It is thought the woman screamed and made made off without her belongings.
He is described as being medium build, white, wearing a dark hoody white white trainers.
Witnesses should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, where information can be left anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
