THE Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has applied for the retention of its out-of-hours and minor injuries unit.

The Clover Building, at the main hospital site off Marlborough Road, is a single-storey ward building which received temporary permission in 2003.

Swindon Council will make the final decision.
