Man robbed in early morning
Two men jumped out of a car and hit a man on the head with a bottle in the early hours of Saturday.
The man was walking just outside the Wheatsheaf, in Orchard Grove, Stratton, at around 2.30am when the men, in a white Audi described as ‘done up’, ambushed him and attacked him with the bottle before stealing £80 in cash from his wallet.
His head injury was not thought to be serious and paramedics treated him at the scene.
