A HOST of famous faces from the south west have been showing their artistic side for charity by taking part in this year’s National Doodle Day.

Doodles by celebrities, including The Great British Bake Off judge Mary Berry, politician Ann Widdecombe, My Family actor Kris Marshall, football commentator Jonathan Pearce and Grand Designs presenter Kevin McCloud will be auctioned on eBay from February 8, National Doodle Day.

The auction will raise money for national charity Epilepsy Action.

National Doodle Day, which is supported by Dodo Pad, publishers of the original family ‘doodle’ diary, is now in its 10th year.

It aims to get as many people doodling as possible to help support the 40,200 people with epilepsy across the south west.

The celebrity doodle eBay auction will begin on National Doodle Day and will run until February 17.

This year Epilepsy Action is inviting schools, workplaces and groups to ‘do a doodle, donate a pound’ with the chance of a prize for anyone taking part.

All schools entering the competition will have the chance to win £250 of equipment and resource vouchers.
