THE Stratton branch of a parcel delivery firm is celebrating after the company released its December trading figures, marking a record Christmas in the company’s 19-year history.
UK Shuttle, in Radway Road, is part of the UK’s largest parcel delivery network, APC Overnight. it increased the number of parcels it processed in December by 29 per cent compared to 2011.
Syed Ziaullah, chief executive of APC Overnight, said: “Christmas is the busiest time for the industry but owing to the marked increase in demand for our services over the past two years, it was important that we put systems in place to cope.”
