A FLEDGING family motorcycle business in Purton has received a major promotional kick-start after reaching the finals of national biking contest, Built in Britain.

Founded in 2010 by father and son team Glenn and Gary Dance, Rolling Art Motorcycles, based at the Penn Farm Industrial Estate, has received a flood of enquiries after gaining invaluable exposure through Built in Britain which is backed by motorcycle insurance specialist Carole Nash and promoted by weekly bikers’ bible, MotorCycle News.

By being voted into the finals by the public, the company’s ‘Dunkley Harton’ custom built motorcycle has already benefited from being displayed to more than 100,000 motorcyclists at Motorcycle Live, the UK’s biggest motorcycle show hosted at Birmingham’s NEC.

The duo now face a nerve-wracking wait to see if the unique machine has won the Pro-Builder category. With polls open until Thursday there’s also still time to help Dunkley - Harton by voting at mcnbuiltinbritain.co.uk.
