Lamp post falls down in Faringdon Road
DRIVERS were caught up in traffic jams on Faringdon Road on Sunday evening at 5.50pm after a lamp post fell down.
Two drivers stopped to attempt to move the post, but it was still live.
Police officers and the council attended the scene and the power was switched on, and the post removed.
The road returned to normal at 6.15pm.
