Man charged with midnight stabbing
POLICE have charged a 23-year-old man arrested in connection with a stabbing in Park South yesterday.
Craig Johnathan Williams, 23, of Leighton Avenue, Swindon, has been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent following the incident in Leighton Avenue at around 12.17am.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at North West Wiltshire Magistrates Court this afternoon.
The 35-year-old victim, named locally as Neil Carter, suffered two stab wounds to the body and remains in hospital in a stable condition.
