PRESERVING a thriving community garden in Wroughton will be one of the subjects up for discussion at a meeting on March 5.

The Vision4Wroughton community group will meet at the bowls club to discuss its latest schemes to make the area a better place to live.

Projects include the Willow – Brook Gardens scheme which is now nearing the end of its Lottery funding and needs people to help with maintenance.

A spokesman said: “Our garden team are busy drawing up maintenance schedules and other preparations for the spring. As soon as the weather improves we will be looking for volunteers to help set up this facility and start to bring the gardens back to life.”

Non-gardening roles including publicity, safety and record-keeping are also available.

The meeting takes place at 7.30pm. Contact info@vision4wroughton.org.uk
