WILTSHIRE Police is appealing for information following the theft of six high value watches from a house in Swindon.
The theft took place at an address on Marlborough Road, Swindon, between January 18 and January 21.
The watches, which have an estimated total value of £43,000, are very distinctive and include brands such as Frank Muller, Jaeger-Le-Couture and Breitling.
A 29-year-old woman from the Swindon area has been arrested on suspicion of theft and remains in police custody at Gablecross Police Station.
Acting Detective Sergeant Alan Mills of Swindon CID said: “We are appealing for the public’s help in locating these watches.
“I would ask any members of the public who may have been approached by anyone in the street trying to sell watches or whether they have seen these watches for sale in antique or second hand shops to contact Wiltshire Police.
“These items are of great value to the owner and we are keen to locate them as quickly as possible.”
Anyone with information should contact Wiltshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
