POLICE and Crime Commissioner for Wiltshire and Swindon Angus Macpherson is one of two PCCs chosen to showcase his vision for the area at a Victim Support meeting in London.

Angus Macpherson and Dorset PCC Martyn Underhill have been invited to speak at the charity’s Board of Trustees meeting in Canary Wharf today Mr Macpherson said: “Working with Victim Support is important to me as a way of improving the support victims of crime and anti-social behaviour in Wiltshire and Swindon receive from criminal justice agencies.

“So I am delighted to be meeting the charity’s Board of Trustees to discuss how we can work together to ensure that victims are given the best possible support.”

He will outline in more detail how he intends to improve services for victims of crime in Wiltshire in his forthcoming Police and Crime Plan. Consultation on a draft of this plan is due to start on February 18.

Who cares what he has to say. We didn't want a PCC and I don't see how the PCC's can speak for the people when they don't speak to the people.
