AN 18-month-old English springer spaniel, known as Harley, has won a year’s free pet care with Vet’s Klinic in Swindon after being crowned Swindon’s Pet Factor.

Vet’s Klinic teamed up with Jack fm to find the most talented pet.

Harley’s ability to perform tricks and dance for people in retirement homes and special needs schools around Wiltshire made him the winner of the title.

Harley’s owner, Ellen Bothwick from Potterne, describes him as a gentle dog who is perfect around the elderly and children with disabilities.

Ellen has taught Harley to perform more than 80 different commands.

She said: “I’m delighted to have won The Pet Factor, especially after seeing some of the other superb competition entries.

“The prize is fantastic and I’ll enjoy bringing Harley to a vet practice that is so state-of-the-art with such a lovely attitude towards pets and their owners.” Harley has a website, www.pawsforeffect.co.uk where you can see him in action.
