ASBOS? Just kill the little pests!

A FIRST-TIME film maker is bringing his movie about yobs to the big screen after three years of hard work.

Vince Pike, of Moredon, shot scenes for his film Antisocial-Behaviour around Swindon and used local actors to make up half the cast.

The film tells the story of Jakob Kelser, a vigilante who decides to teach the unruly youths tormenting his council estate a brutal lesson.

One by one Kelser takes his revenge by murdering the youngsters who were making his life hell.

Vince, 36, said: "It's like a teen horror for adults.

"I'm sure anyone in their 30s and 40s will love it.

"I'm not saying people should go out and do this themselves, but I think a lot of people sympathise with the situation.

"Everyone I have spoken to has said we would love to do that.' "Even priests have said they would sometimes like to give the kids a good whack."

The crew of about 50 shot the film at locations across town, including Moredon and Brinkworth.

Internet designer Vince worked full-time while writing, directing, producing and editing the film.

He even got 12-year-old daughter Jessica to use the clapperboard and help out behind the scenes.

"It was very, very stressful but I'm really pleased with it," he said. "It is slightly frightening now I have got to get it sold."

So far the only people who have seen the completed movie are his family, lead actor David Watkins and assistant director John Wilson.

Antisocial-Behaviour will be shown on the big screen for the first time, next month.

The premiere will be at New College's Phoenix Theatre, on Monday, December 11.

Vince then hopes the DVD will go on sale nationwide.

He ploughed £100,000 of his savings into making it, and said he will need 50,000 people to buy it just to break even.

Vince is appealing for people to come up with a catchy tagline for the film, and is offering two tickets to the premiere whoever can come up with the best one.
