9:15am Friday 1st February 2013 in News By Scott D'Arcy
POLICE have charged a man over the stabbing of a young man in Liden.
Stephen Francis Low, 47, of Galsworthy Road, Swindon, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and remains in custody.
He will appear at North West Wiltshire Magistrates this morning at 10am.
Police were called to the incident at Galsworthy Close at around 6.30pm on Wednesday and found a 20-year-old man, named locally as Aron Low, with serious injuries that required immediate hospital treatment.
He was taken to Bristol’s Frenchay Hospital, where he remained last night in a stable condition, although his wounds are not thought to be life threatening.
Anyone with any information should contact Wiltshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
