Landlord nets a top award

Bob and Penny Warren with a selection of jams on sale for charity at The Trout Inn at Lechlade
THE Trout Inn pub landlord Bob Warren, who has helped raise more than £7,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support and other local causes over the past two years, saw his contributions championed at the Fairford and Lechlade Business Club Awards when he was presented with a special Howard Dowler Award.
The cancer charity also awarded Bob with a certificate on the night for his fundraising efforts.
A lot of the money has been raised through selling jam at the pub.
