A BIKE was stolen from outside Sainsburys in the town centre at 5.30pm on Tuesday.

Thieves broke the lock and made off with the bike, described as a grey and silver Trek Town bike, with two disc brakes and straight handlebars, with a reflector on the front.

Anyone in the area between 5pm and 5.30pm is asked to call police on 101.
