Assault case man placed on night-time curfew
6:50pm Friday 1st February 2013 in News
Swindon Crown Court
A 51-year-old man who is said to have launched a violent attack has been released on bail by a judge.
Paul Flynn, of Churchward Avenue, is accused of causing grievous bodily harm with intent during an alleged incident on January 6.
No charge was formally put him during a brief hearing at Swindon Crown Court and he has not entered a plea.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to Friday, April 5 and released Flynn on conditional bail.
He must observe a 9pm to 5am curfew at his home, not contact witnesses or go to Eastcott Hill.
The judge ordered the police to return Flynn’s passport to enable him to seek defence industry jobs.
