Soccer fun to set to kick off Swindon
YOUNGSTERS across the town have the chance to take part in a football course during half term.
Swindon Town Football in the Community Trust February Development Week offers opportunities to boys and girls from five to 15 the chance to learn new skills, improve their football performance and have fun.
The course runs from Tuesday, February 12 until February 14 from 9.30am until 3pm. There is also an option to extend it into a fourth day.
The course offers the chance to play on the STFC inflatable pitch, play in mini tournaments and the opportunity to meet an STFC player on presentation day while receiving medals and goodie bags on the County Ground pitch.
There is also the option of playing in a specialised goalkeeping group, which focuses on goalkeeper drills and skills and there is a well as a girls’ only development group.
