Author John Green
A TOP US author has said that Swindon is “England’s most underrated city” after visiting for a promotional book tour and to take in a Swindon Town game.
John Green, who has started up a virtual side based on The Robins, tweeted: “I have come to love Swindon with a burning passion. It is England’s most underrated city.”
The best-selling writer visited earlier this month for his latest work, The Fault in our Stars, and returned a week later to watch Swindon’s game with Hartlepool.
The prolific blogger runs an internet side called the Swindon Swoodilypoopers by playing games on FIFA before uploading them to YouTube.
