Man accused of assaults

A MAN is to face trial accused of carrying out a serious assault on a woman.
Lee Fitchett, 30, of Linden Avenue, Pinehurst, denied wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
He also denied charges of common assault on two children. The alleged offences are said to have taken place on November 25 last year.
Fitchett was remanded in custody for trial on May 13.
