YOUNGSTERS have been kept entertained this half term thanks to a week-long programme of activities at Lydiard Park.
Yesterday, parents looking for activities to entertain their children took advantage of craft sessions to create ‘lovely lanterns’.
Children taking part were given the opportunity to get their hands dirty while they made painted glass tea light holders, before taking them home and giving them as gifts to their loved ones on Valentine’s Day.
Also this week, children had the chance to get involved in kite making workshops as well as taking part in Trixie’s Trail, a half term quiz trail which saw them follow in the paw prints of Lady Mary’s dog to learn about the pets and animals that the St John family had at Lydiard Park in the past.
