QUEUES of traffic built up on the M4 towards London this afternoon while emergency services worked to help a horse.
Three fire engines, a specialist animal rescue team and a recovery vehicle attended the scene at junction 14 westbound after a call at 4.04pm.
A vehicle towing a horsebox had broken down but crews had to help one of the horses which had fallen over.
A spokesman for Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the horse that had fallen over was upright again just before 5pm and they were expecting to leave the scene shortly.
