Jessie J makes date at Westonbirt Forest Live event

FANS will be falling like dominos this week to get their hands on tickets for pop superstar Jessie J’s appearance at Westonbirt this summer.
The Voice star has announced a special West Country date for the summer as part of Forest Live, organised by the Forestry Commission, where concerts are performed in spectacular woodland locations around the country Jessie is one of the hottest pop stars on the planet, after having hit the Number One spot in 19 countries world-wide, selling 16 million singles and over three million copies of her multi-platinum debut album, Who You Are.
Tickets to other Forest Live events at Westonbirt Paul Weller and Olly Murs have already sold out and demand is expected to be high for this latest event.
In the UK alone, Jessie has sold over 1.5 million albums and secured two Number One singles with Price Tag and Domino.
Her single Laserlight featuring David Guetta became her sixth Top 10 UK single from her debut album, and with it she achieved the accolade of being the first UK solo artist to have so many Top 10 hits from one album.
She has also had success with the release of her autobiography Nice to Meet You, and has become established as a British fashion icon, while her second album is expected for release later in the year.
Jessie J plus special guests will be performing on Friday, July 19, at the arboretum, near Tetbury.
Tickets cost £35, subject to booking fee, and go on sale at 9am this Friday from the Forestry Commission box office on 03000 680400 or online at www.forestry.gov.uk/music Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission bringing music to new audiences without commercial branding or sponsorship.
Income generated from ticket sales is spent on caring for this internationally important tree collection and improving the arboretum for both people and wildlife. Forest Live concerts are renowned for their safe and relaxed atmosphere in fantastic woodland settings.
Tickets are also still available for Blondie on Friday, June 21 and Paloma Faith on Saturday, June 22.
