Band all set to take to the stage at Wychwood Festival

A BAND are set to entertain hundreds of people this summer when they take to the stage at Wychwood Festival.
NewQuay Times, who have been together for about a year, will be playing at the festival at Cheltenham Racecourse, which takes place from May 31 to June 2.
The band includes singer and guitarist, Sarah Ryan, 16, who is a pupil at Royal Wootton Bassett Academy Sixth Form, as well as her father, 47-year-old Vince, on guitar, Alex Hudd, 39, on drums and Stu Bell, 41, on bass and backing vocals.
Sarah, Vince and Stu are from Royal Wootton Bassett and Alex is from Malmesbury.
NewQuay Times, who have previously headlined at Riffs Bar, in Hook, near Wootton Bassett also played at The Hope and Anchor pub in London earlier this year.
Wychwood Festival will include performances from Kate Nash, The Human League, Police Dog Hogan and Caravan Palace.
A spokesman for the festival said: “The festival is known for its family friendly atmosphere, big range of music on offer, plus loads of other activities including 100 workshops for all ages, comedy, cinema and much more.
“Plus we have a laid back atmosphere, and you can drive on to the campsite to unload all your gear.
“And we have been nominated Best Family Festival in the UK Festival Awards every year.”
