WILTSHIRE Police are appealing for information after more than 100 cars had their tyres slashed overnight.

Residents in several roads in Old Town and the town centre woke up to discover the damage this morning.

Cars in Dixon Street, Stafford Street, Raggett Street and Prospect Place were targeted and approximately 120 cars have so far been reported to police.

Wiltshire Police are asking anyone with information to contact them on 101.
