TWO men have who are accused of raiding a house while armed with a baseball bat and stealing a car have been released on bail by a judge.
Craig Knowles and Leon Morgan are charged with breaking into the Haydon Wick home on February 3.
They are then said to have taken a Vauxhall Corsa from the property, in Speedwell Close, which was driven without insurance.
Knowles, 23, and Morgan, 20, are accused of aggravated burglary, taking without consent and driving without insurance.
No charges were put to the pair, during the brief hearing at Swindon Crown Court, and they did not enter any pleas.
Judge Euan Ambrose adjourned the case to May 3 and released them on conditional bail until then.
Knowles, of Courtenay Road, Walcot, was ordered to live at his home address, have no contact with witnesses or go to Speedwell Close. Morgan, of Cricklade Road, Gorse Hill, was ordered to have no contact with witness or his co-accused.
