A TEENAGER who played in front of thousands at the O2 Arena earlier this year is hoping for success when she takes part in Britain does Variety.

Charlie-Anne Bradfield, of Nythe, took part in the final of the Open Mic UK Live and Unsigned competition in January.

The 14-year-old, who came third in Swindon’s Young Musician of the Year competition last month, will now be taking part in Britain does Variety.

She got through the first round of audititions and will be taking part in the second round in Aldershot on April 13.

The competition includes dance troops and jugglers and the final will be at the O2 Arena.

Charlie-Anne has charity gigs booked at Riffs and The Moonrakers, and will also be playing at Old Town Festival, Wiltshire Pride and Lechlade Festival.
