Award winners with their trophies
SWINDON’S sporting stars were honoured as the Swindon Advertiser held its annual Sports Awards night on Wednesday.
In a glittering ceremony at Blunsdon House Hotel, no less than 11 awards were handed out to a huge variety of worthy winners.
Leading the way were the Swindon Robins with a hat-trick of gongs. The Elite League winners scooped Team of the Year while team manager Alun Rossiter picked up Coach of the Year and Sports Personality of the Year.
