Bomb scare in West Swindon
Hundreds of people were evacuated from RWE and the Hilton Hotel in West Swindon today due to a suspicious package.
Police and the bomb disposal unit were called to the scene at 11.50am after a suspicious package arrived at RWE.
RWE and the surrounding buildings, which included the Hilton Hotel, were evacuated.
The package was in fact a part for a bike.
Everyone is now back inside the buildings.
