THE wife of a missing man said to be vulnerable with health issues has pleaded for any information which could lead to his safe return.

Police have become increasingly worried about the welfare of Marvin Munday as he has not been in contact with his family for more than 72 hours.

The 51-year-old, who was last seen at 1pm on Friday near the town centre, has health problems and requires medication.

It is understood that he was travelling to Marlborough but did not return and his family have not been able to contact him since.

Police yesterday released a CCTV image, which shows Marvin wearing a backpack with a distinctive fluorescent yellow tabard draped over it.

His wife, Nicola, said: “Please keep the appeal going for my missing husband Marvin Munday.

“He is my absolute soulmate – I just want him home and safe.

“I can’t even describe the pain that I feel to have my husband missing and bearing in mind that he wasn’t well.

“I just miss him, I don’t know where he is or what’s happened.

“Please, please, please get in contact, please put us out of this pain – everything is going to be okay.”

Marvin is white, of large build and is bald. He was wearing a blue waterproof coat, jeans and black boots. He had a large rucksack with a yellow vest over it.

Insp Dave Minty said: “Officers have been searching for Marvin throughout the weekend and we are increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“He has health problems for which he requires medication and is considered to be vulnerable.

“Officers are continuing to search for Marvin and we would like to appeal for anyone who has seen Marvin or who has any information on his location to contact police immediately.”

Anyone who has any information on his whereabouts should contact Wiltshire Police on 101.
