LYDIARD Beefeater Grill in Swindon is searching for the most deserving members of the local neighbourhood to win its Beefeater Grill Community Champions Award.

The scheme is asking for nominations to find the most inspiring individuals who will be awarded a bursary of £1,000 to help them continue their good work.

The Beefeater Grill Community Champions Award seeks to reward those individuals and organisations who work tirelessly to support their local neighbourhood and give of their own time to help others.

The £1,000 bursary, which will be awarded to 10 winning entrants from across the UK, will serve to both recognise the hard work, which has already been done, and further aid the work of the crowned champions into the coming year.

Sam Vaughn, marketing manager at Beefeater Grill, said: “If you know someone who is constantly thinking of others before themselves and helps to make your community a better place then we at Beefeater Grill would like to hear from you.

"Scout leaders, youth workers and Sunday league coaches alike – it’s time to say thank you to those people who make our neighbourhood somewhere to be proud of.”

Those wishing to nominate a local resident for the Beefeater Grill Community Champions Award can do so by picking up a nomination form at their local restaurant or by logging on to www.beefeatergrill.co.uk/champions.

Entries close March 28.
