Fire service take part in car wash for charity
DRIVERS can get fire safety advice for the home while their cars are given a gleaming polish in Swindon tomorrow.
Crews based at Westlea fire station, in The Chesters, will be taking part in a national car wash for the Fire Fighters Charity between 10am and 2pm.
Local people are invited to go along and make a donation to get their car cleaned. They can also talk to the firefighters and find out how to be safer in their homes and on the roads.
The Fire Fighters Charity provides help to serving and retired personnel, their surviving spouse and young dependents through practical and financial support.
