CHILDREN in Royal Wootton Bassett are invited to take part in an Easter Egg hunt around the town centre from today until March 28.

They will have the chance of winning a giant chocolate Easter Egg personalised with their own name.

Thirty members of The Royal Wootton Bassett Business Association will be displaying pictures of Easter Eggs somewhere in their windows, each with a letter of the alphabet on.

Children are invited to find the eggs and unscramble the letters to make three words which relate to Easter, with winners of three different age groups receiving a giant chocolate egg each.

Organised by the Royal Wootton Bassett Business Association, the competition is free to enter, with entry forms available from Dandelion, Bassett Stationery, the Post Office and The Guelder Rose.

Hazel Newson from Dandelion gifts, one of the organisers, said: “Our window competition last Christmas was a great success, and we’ve had many requests to organise something similar. Easter seemed the obvious choice and, once again, it’s great to see so many of our town’s businesses wanting to take part and get involved in the fun.”
