Fire traced to Penhill flat
FIREFIGHTERS from Swindon and Stratton were called to Cleverton Court, in Alton Close, Penhill, on Monday at 11.05am after the alarms sounded on the seventh floor.
Firefighters entered the building to investigate and tracked it down to a flat where there had been a small fire after a plastic container was left on a cooker hob.
An inspection was carried out and safety advice given.
