SWINDON Freemasons have given Easter eggs to the children of domestic abuse victims.
The group provided the Easter eggs and other sweets for children who will be staying at Swindon Women’s Aid during the next few weeks.
Swindon Women’s Aid provides a refuge for victims of domestic abuse and violence.
The Freemasons also gave eggs for the first time for the children of mothers who have been subjected to domestic abuse who are not in residence at the refuge, but are receiving counselling and support services from Swindon Women’s Aid.
The donation of Easter goodies were made possible by the generosity of members of The Lodge of Remembrance No 4037 and the Harry C Preater Lodge No 8204.
