New Adver reader panels need your views
11:20pm Wednesday 24th April 2013 in News
THE Swindon Advertiser may be the area’s number one source of news and sport but we are constantly looking at ways we can improve.
Now we are looking for people to tell us what they think about the Adver to help us shape its future.
We listen to all the feedback we receive and attempt to incorporate ideas and suggestions into your favourite paper.
To assist us even further we are asking readers to come along and take part in one of three reader panels next month in Swindon.
They will be a chance to discuss what is in the Adver and what else our readers would like to see introduced.
The panels will be held at the Marriott Hotel, in Pipers Way, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Tuesday, May 7; Swindon Town Football Club from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Wednesday, May 8 and The Madison Hotel, in Oxford Road, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Thursday, May 9.
We will provide tea, coffee and biscuits and each panel member will be paid £20 as a thank you for giving up their valuable time.
Editor Gary Lawrence said: “Our readers are our lifeblood and I know that they care very much about their paper and what goes in it.
“I am really keen to find out what they think of it, what they think should be in it and what shouldn’t.
“The Adver team works very hard every day to make the paper as readable, eye-catching and relevant as it can be.
“Everyone here cares very much about the paper we put out, but we all feel it is important to listen to the people who really matter – our readers.
“I’m sure the feedback from these panels will help us to produce an even better paper.”
The panel discussions will be led by an experienced co-ordinator and participants will only be required to give us their honest opinions about the paper.
To apply to be a panel member email email@example.com or by writing to Rachael Youd, Swindon Advertiser Reader Panel, 100 Victoria Road, Swindon SN13BE. Or call 01793 501310.
Make sure you tell us your name and address and let us have a daytime contact number.
