POST Office customers are being reminded that the West Swindon Centre Post Office will be closed for refurbishment from Wednesday.
The new look Post Office will reopen next Monday at 9am.
The branch is to be refurbished to create a more modern environment for customers as well as providing increased opening hours.
As part of plans to modernise the network and extend the opening hours for customers, West Swindon Centre Post Office will have four serving positions. This will be a mixture of one screened counter position, two open plan and a Post Office serving point – available alongside retail transactions during shop opening hours.
During the refurbishment alternative Post Offices in the area include Swindon Post Office within WH Smith in Regent Street and Shaw Village Centre Post Office, Ramleaze Drive, Shaw.
The retail part of the branch will remain open throughout the refurbishment.
Customers will benefit from opening hours being extended by 34.5 hours a week and will have access to Post Office products and services seven days a week.
