Not following my dreams sooner and not standing up to bullies when I was a child.

What do you enjoy most about being on the stage?

Acting alongside Beverley Callard every night, she’s so wonderful to work with.

How long did it take you to learn your lines for The Rise and Fall of Little Voice? Are there any that you still struggle with sometimes?

Well I don’t have too many so it didn’t take that long – even still I did forget a line once!

Who do you think is the best singer out of all of those Little Voice impersonates?

My favourite is Judy Garland.

If you could play any role, which would it be and why?

Madame Thenardier in Les Miserables – because I know I could do it so well!

What are the best and worst things about being on tour?

The best part is seeing the country and getting to play in lots of different and beautiful theatres. The worst part is being away from home.

If you discovered a new species of dinosaur what would you call it?

Plumb-asaurus Rex!

If you came with a warning label, what would it say?

Heavy load!
