COUPLES could win the wedding of their dreams with the Marriott’s best package ever if they take part in the Adver’s Win Your Wedding Competition.

The Marriott is offering one lucky couple all the features of the Platinum wedding package and more, including an exclusive wedding dress worth £1,000 from Hazlewood Bridal Boutique and 10 standard bed and breakfast stays for their friends.

Adam Flint, general manager at the Marriott on Pipers Way, said: “The package is a great prize for the winner. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to celebrate your wedding in style and the couple will be able to save the money they would have spent on the honeymoon or on their house.

“A lot of people put off their wedding to save money for the day, and entering the competition could really speed up the process. And as a Marriott brand it’s fantastic, and our wedding packages are among the best on the market.”

The Marriott, which has more than 150 guest rooms, is currently undergoing a £1.1m refurbishment of all the bedrooms which is set to be completed by August 31, making it the newest hotel on the market.

The lucky bride and groom will have the run of one of three suites, which feature a full-size dining table, a lounge area complete with soft furnishings and a television, and office area and a large bathroom. They will also be able to make the most of a superking bed on the wedding night and a large wardrobe to store their outfits.

Guests will also be able to make the most of a newly installed private garden and patio, where they can enjoy their drinks.

Adam said: “To help them feel relaxed and in control on the day or two days before we will meet the couple before it all goes mad to go through everything and introduce them to the team so they feel relaxed and happy about the day.”

Not only will the lucky bride and groom be assigned their own wedding co-ordinator, who will be available to have appointments with even on Saturdays, but they will be welcomed to the hotel on a red carpet, served chilled champagne, and receive a beautiful mystery gift as a memento of their time with the hotel.

There will also be little party bags for children, and plates can be put aside for the lucky couple in their rooms to help keep their energy up throughout the day.

As part of the prize, the winning couple will be able to choose one of three menus for their sit down three-course meal, and will enjoy a free food tasting and wine tasting session with the hotel.

What’s more, the hotel will be with them throughout their first year when they also win a 12 month membership to the Leisure Club, normally worth £1,000.

The Marriott offers Silver, Gold and Platinum packages to couples wanting to celebrate their special day at the hotel, all with different offers and inclusions.

On September 29, the winners of this year’s competition will be announced at the wedding fair held at the hotel by Love To Plan, which will feature more than 30 suppliers showcasing florists, outfitters, photographers and more.

Couples have until 10am on August 7 to enter the competition.

I can see that they are not just a lucky couple, but this is truly a splendid dream wedding. Like many others, we all wish to have the best wedding within our limited budget. However, a wedding isn't about how grand it is. Anyone can have their dream wedding by simply adding wholesale balloons, decorations and a menu. At the end of the day, the people who are there to share your day are all that matters.
