Last week, three men and a young woman, were caught on the High Street branch’s CCTV cameras entering the bank shortly after midnight through the main door.
After one man withdrew cash from one of the machines, the group spent 18 minutes covering the wall with graffiti using the pens that are provided for customer use. The woman also scribbled the names of the offenders on the wall. Some of the drawings were deemed to be offensive, and when the manager opened up the branch the following morning he called the police.
Two of the men were adults and received an adult caution, and the other was a juvenile and has been given a conditional caution.
The woman has been interviewed and will be issued with a caution.
Two of the group were customers of the branch and have had their accounts closed as a result.
