ONE of these five lucky young people is on the verge of winning a fabulous prize.
They will be a mascot and special guest at one of Swindon Town’s biggest games of recent years – the Capital One Cup tie against Premier League glamour side Chelsea on September 24.
Read their stories below, and then vote for who you think deserves the prize.
AEMILIA MOORE – 09013601022. Nominated by Misty Moore
A true Swindonian! Aemilia has just been on holiday with her Great-Papa who is not well. Aemilia helped dress, feed and shave her Great-Papa who is also a true Swindonian. Come on your Reds!
JACK HILL – 09013601023. Nominated by Sue Hill
We are a foster family and Jack has welcomed 26 kids into our house and taught a lot of them the skills of football which has built their confidence and encouraged them to join teams and become part of the community. Jack has given all of his time to this as well as playing himself.
BRANDON STYLES – 09013601024. Nominated by Nicki Styles
Brandon has a life threatening metabolic condition that requires medication every six hours. Brandon does not complain about any of this, he just carries on the best he can. Kicking a football is a hobby of his, but he struggles to play the game. This would be an amazing opportunity for him close to our home.
RHYS GAVAN-LEWIS – 09013601025. Nominated by Martina Lewis
Rhys loves football, it’s his life! He used to play for Swindon Robins but due to his sister’s disability he was not always able to attend training and the matches and in the end had to give up. Rhys is one of five children and often has to take a step back to enable the special care of his sister. It would be great for him to be centre of attention for once, this would truly be an experience of a lifetime.
SOPHIE HYND – 09013601026. Nominated by Stephen Chivers
Sophie came into our care when she was eight years old. Sophie was also diagnosed with diabetes around the same time. Sophie has done so well to be where she is today, this really would be the icing on the cake.
