YOUNG people are to be asked for their views on what makes a good library service this month.
Seven to 16 year olds will be quizzed when they visit their local library on book and computer use, resources, and staff and volunteer support.
There will also be a number of specific questions about reading choices for seven to 16 year olds. The questionnaire will run from October 21 to November 2.
The library service is going to be asking children and young people to complete a questionnaire that asks them what they think of the service that libraries provide for them.
The survey will take place in 15 libraries including Aldbourne, Lyneham and Purton. The venues have been chosen to represent a range of communities and different sized libraries.
Parents/carers of younger children will be asked to complete the survey on their child’s behalf.
