JEDIS and aliens flocked to Royal Wootton Bassett on Saturday for a memorabilia and toy fair run by Leigh Barnett.
The fair was the second to take place in the area this year and welcomed visitors dressed up as Predator, Alien, stars from Doctor Who and creatures from Star Wars and Star Trek to the Phoenex Bar.
Leigh, 44, from Covingham, said: “It was open to the public and there were plenty of table tops and stalls selling different toys and memorabilia.
“We were due to have John Levene, who was Sergeant Benton of UNIT on Doctor Who, but sadly he wasn’t able to come.
“You can always have more people along but it went reasonably well.”
There was also a tombola held to raise money for Help for Heroes and Prospect Hospice.
Leigh said: “People didn’t have to dress up but a lot of people who come along to these things do.
“A lot of people do like to get into it when they come along to memorabilia fairs.
“It’s something that we like to do.
“We’ve been trading at other places before and we just wanted to bring it here and try to lighten it up.”
Earlier this year, a similar fair was held in Covingham School.
There are plans to hold another fair in Swindon in the new year.
