A 46-year-old man who is accused of being involved in the trade in hard drugs is to face trial by judge and jury.
Phillip Clarke pleaded not guilty to possessing heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply at Swindon Crown Court.
The Londoner is said to have had the drugs in Swindon on Tuesday November 27 last year with co-defendant Faye Rawlings.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to a trial date to be fixed and released Clarke, of Plaistow, east London, on unconditional bail until then.
Rawlings, 29, of Wharf Road, Wroughton, pleaded not guilty to the charges at an earlier hearing and was released on conditional bail.
